Introduction To iMac
This course will offer students an opportunity to become more familiar with using an iMac / Apple computer. They will learn some of the basic components of the iMac computer and what makes an Apple computer different from a PC. Students will also learn to operate the mouse and keyboard and will learn iMac terminology. Through hands-on exercises, students will explore sample programs and gain familiarity with the basic layout and of the iMac. This class is designed for beginning computer users.
Classes are FREE but we do ask that you call (903) 237-1354 or stop in and register in advance. Also, if you sign-up for a class and cannot make it, please be considerate and call and cancel with us so that we may give your spot to someone else. We hate turning away people, as many of our classes do fill up!
This class will offer students a review of the skills learned in Excel I and introduce them to inserting cells, sorting data, formatting spreadsheets, and entering formulas. Hands-on exercises will include changes to pre-existing spreadsheets. This class assumes the student has some experience with Windows and using a mouse, and has taken the Introduction to Excel class. Intermediate class.

Using hands-on exercises the students will create a simple budget spreadsheet and an electronic checkbook. This class assumes the student has some experience with Windows and using a mouse. Beginner class.

Calling all Warriors fans! Join us Wednesday, March 13th at 2:00 PM in the Moeschle Room for a pawsome program all about the cats and their clans! We'll be doing a reading from the series and will also create our own feline Warrior character and make a paper bag puppet of it! Don’t miss out on all the wonderful Warrior fun!
This program is based off of the Warriors series of books by Erin Hunter. The popular books are about several “clans” of warrior cats who battle and have adventures. For more info on the series check out their official website: http://www.warriorcats.com/warriorshell.html
Teens- tired of using random things to mark your stopping point while reading? Do the paper bookmarks lose your place or fall apart to quickly?
Join us Friday, March 15th for our Spring Break Bookmark Workshop!
We'll provide the supplies- just come to the Moeschle Room at 3:00 PM and get ready to have some fun! Bring a friend and share the creativity!

Calling all Easter egg artists: the Easter Art Contest is back!
From Sunday, March 17th through Saturday March 23d, we will be handing out pictures of an Easter egg for patrons 12 & under to color/decorate. Let your kids show their true colors and get creative!
The eggs will be grouped by the age of the artist: 0-4, 5-8, and 9-12. We’ll pick one winner from each group. We will display the artwork in the Children’s Department- don’t forget to put your child's name, age, and phone number on the back of their egg!

He'll be making a special appearance at both of our morning storytimes and will be more than happy to pose for photos so be sure and bring your camera!
