Access Services

Access Services seeks to provide access to all library services and materials, as well as access to online and electronic resources, for all patrons. Access Services encompasses all circulation and reference activities, such as searching for library materials, check-in and check-out of materials, research needs, computer needs and more.

Access Services provides access to the library’s online and computer catalogs in order to help patrons find needed materials. Staff assist patrons in locating physical library materials for checkout. They also assist with placing holds or reserves on materials, renewing items and checking items in. Access Services now has 3 Express Checkout Stations for quick and easy checkout.

The Adult Reference area includes materials and assistance for quick information on almost any subject. The resources include encyclopedias, directories, handbooks, periodical indexes, and much more. Access Services staff are available for patrons needing assistance finding materials or with research.

Access Services staff are also available for any patron with computer needs. For information on using wireless internet, public library computers or the Internet, locate a staff member.

Whatever your needs, Access Services will be able to assist. Staff are knowledgeable about all Library activities and materials and can provide what you need.
